Exec rejoins former Circuit City boss
Central Parking has named Mark Oldani, the former COO of fast-growing diabetes equipment supplier Simplex Healthcare, a senior vice president.
In a statement, Nashville-based Central Parking said Oldani "brings extensive experience [...] in the area of leveraging automation, centralization and call center services to drive value for the organization." He started his new job on Monday.
He had been at Cool Springs-based Simplex since the spring of last year and has rejoined his former CEO, Jim Marcum, who headed up Circuit City during the retailer\'s final months and took over at Central Parking in February. At Circuit City, Oldani helped e-commerce sales double to $1.4 billion over two years.
Oldani, who holds a business degree from the University of Chicago, also has worked at Dell and AT&T.
“We are excited to have Mark join our executive management team,” Marcum said. “He is an accomplished, results-oriented leader who has driven significant business and customer experience improvements in multiple organizations, and he will be a valuable addition to our team.”
Oldani\'s hire is the latest in a series of senior-level additions at Central Parking. So far this year, the company also has added executive talent in business development and finance.
