Mr. Fuqua’s legal and business experience was forged in the parking business.

Mr. Fuqua graduated from Clemson University in 1986 with Honors in Economics. Following graduation from the Vanderbilt School of Law, Mr. Fuqua first worked for a law firm in Nashville and then moved to an in house legal position for what would become the largest parking company in the world (Central Parking System). While at the company, Central Parking went public, made numerous acquisitions and purchased and sold real estate throughout the United States. Mr. Fuqua honed his commercial transaction experience while working on various transactions in each of these areas.

Mr. Fuqua then buttressed his legal experience in the business world. Central Parking promoted Mr. Fuqua from the legal department to an operational position (Regional Manager and then Vice President) in Atlanta. There he learned the business of parking from operating coinbox surface lots to managing multi million dollar parking garages.

Now Mr. Fuqua runs a legal practice (along with his Partner, Hank Abbott) that focuses on sophisticated business transactions in both the Real Estate and Parking industries. He has a client list that includes several parking companies that range in size from local operators to regional firms to international corporations. At one point, he served as interim General Counsel for the largest parking operator in Canada (Impark). He also has a growing practice representing owners of real estate and other businesses.

Mr. Fuqua owns more than 15 properties, the majority of which are surface parking lots and parking garages. He is actively seeking to purchase additional real estate.
